Kodaline for my 21st

On the 15th of March I travelled back to Leeds for the day which meant I had to pack light as I had University the next day. Fashion was getting busier and busier by the minute so I did not really have time to miss a day. I wore my favourite parka coat from Zara as I get so cold easily. My outfit on that day was black, something easy to throw on and would match with any type of outfits. I added a light shirt to balance the black but the reason was to add another layer for extra warmth.

Coat: Zara
Black Crop Top: Primark
White Shirt: Brother's wardrobe

Why did I go home for the day? I went to see Kodaline! One of my bestie got me the tickets as an early birthday present, best present ever! Kodaline live are amazing and I've been playing both, In A Perfect World and Coming up for Air on repeat.

Spring Trend - Men and Women...

So its Spring and cherry blossom trees are blooming.... Which can only mean that it is time to hide the dark, thick clothes away and put on some nude or pastel, light clothes. I know that the transition from Winter to Spring can be hard for both men and women as it still can be very cold (well if you live in England).

Trying to understand menswear fashion can be very difficult as menswear is all about the technical, practical and functional aspect of their design therefore sometimes it can all look the same but it is actually all down to the detail of the cut on the garment, wether you notice it or not this is how they differentiate themselves.

(This is what I'd like to see how guys would dress.)

Zara

Trench Coat, Loafers, Trousers, Bomber Jacket, Sweatshirt, Sneakers

However women has more freedom when it comes to their outfits as they could still layer up light clothes and since the sunny is out more it does not mean the our legs shouldn't be hibernating...

Zara / Miss Guided / Asos

Jumper Dresses, High Knee Boots, A-line Skirts, A Classic Trench Coat, Cape scarf, Denim, Fringe Suede Jackets...

Yayo Ego only in Hull

Walk The Talk

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jess Bennett is a close friend of mine and I would do anything for this girl. I am so happy and very proud of her clothing line - Yayo Ego as it has its unique style and we can all clearly see what that is... However you get those judgemental people who would be against, disgusted or offended by it because of how "CONTROVERSIAL" it can be.

Well, the world is corrupt and we have to face the facts that nothing is perfect and we can't keep hiding things forever. Yet making a big deal out of the designs is a priority for some. My question is, would you have someone who is boring, does what the law says and is not noticed compared to someone who is different and making a statement? (See it in a fashion point of view). Your choice...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These successful photo shoots (thank you Laura Herbert for taking them) was the most fun thing I have done, specially doing it with one of my closest friends as well - Rosie B (http://therosieb.blogspot.co.uk/). The experience of being in front of the camera modelling the clothes, walking down the catwalk to fashion shows for charity events to promote ourselves and other upcoming brands has slowly built my confidence up. Being a student and living away from home made me understand more about the difficulty of trying to get your name out which has taught me that to be in this industry you need to really have a thick-skin to be were you want to be and can't let judgements cloud over your ideas that's has not even been put down on paper and tried out for the world to see. One thing I love about these type of events is meeting new people and learning from them as I believe that we meet them for a reason and they're not by chance but they have a purpose in our lives, we don't know what those are just yet until it comes to us.

Peace out

You Get What You Give...

Lately I have been knowing myself more and more through the ups and downs and this is really the stage where everyone has been through it or is currently going through it but that shouldn't stop our day... Our attitudes will lead us to the path that we want to have or not and that is how it will determine us as a person. I know that I'm going all philosophical but I kind of believe on this saying and I put that into my fashion and it works!

This all start when we wake up...

So whenever I piece an outfit together for the perfect outfit of the day, my day instantly change because of how good I feel about myself and how it will show my confidence to everyone. You got to admit that everyone loves a GOOD CONFIDENCE as it is a type of assurance that you are content with what you have and that there is no doubt that you do not care about what people say about you. When people see that you are positive, we're actually attracting good things in our lives that will happen in the near future, hence the 'YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE'. That is one thing I love about life in general the spontaneous side of it, even though there are ups and downs BUT IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD.

Go bold with Tanya Burr and Topshop

When I normally do my everyday routine in the morning I take FOREVER to get ready and to those who knows me well, will agree to this!

And I had this urge of making a statement of going bold and attracting people to look straight on my lips only because I wanted to wear my glasses as I am blind as a bat but we all know that's not the real reason. The season winter has this hidden rule in fashion and beauty that our colour palettes GOES DARKER (just excuse the bright yellow jacket), I mean we get to layer up our clothes  as well and who doesn't love a good layer? Our make-up stays on for longer as we're not sweating the money off that we've spent under the hot sun, I think it's just the right season where everything goes right for us.

Tanya Burr - Exotic Island
Topshop - Role Model

Thank you to Chibbles for getting Tanya Burr as a present. :D
